The best spots near the Tamraght surf camp

Right in front of our camp, 3 famous spots await you to experience Tamraght Morocco surfing at its best: Banana Beach, Devils Rock and Panorama.

With a small swell, Banana Beach is a good spot for beginner surfers. If the swell picks up, the Banana Beach point starts working and big waves roll in. Devils Rock is one of those great spots: the big rock that seems to appear from nowhere offers excellent protection from swell and wind. The sandy beach is an ideal base for beginners, while there is a point in the line-up better suited to intermediates and advanced surfers.

This area gathers Morocco's most diverse surf spots, with around 15 different spots accessible in 5 to 15 minutes by car. Tamraght sits exactly in the middle of all the surf spots, making it the most central village to stay in. That is where our surf camp Morocco Tamraght welcomes you, ideally positioned to maximise your riding time. Also discover our surf camp in Taghazout for even more options.

Killer Point

Facing a cliff, the killer point spot, named after killer whales, offers a long tubular right. Always bigger than it looks from the cliffs, the spot also offers a left at low tide that fades as the tide rises, giving way to a long right over several sections. Access to the lineup at low tide is easy by skirting the cliffs, but once the tide starts to rise, access becomes exclusively by rowing a hundred meters or so. .
