Surfing in Agadir: the best spots accessible from our camp

Agadir Bay Spotlight

The central beach offers waters suitable for surf Agadir Morocco. Agadir bay is ideal for beginner surfers — it helps you get comfortable with the ocean quickly during your stay at the surf camp Morocco Agadir. The north of the bay is a good backup spot, while the south of the bay offers an exposed beach break.

Spot Anza

It is a fairly consistent beach break, known as the “Moroccan Trestles” or “Trestles of Morocco”. Accessible from our Agadir surf camp, this wave breaks left and right and works best on a north-west swell. The water temperature there is perfectly pleasant.

Spotlight K11 and spotlight K12

These two beaches go hand in hand, and if you are around for some surfing in Morocco, Agadir, you should pay it a visit. Everyone can jump in — professional surfers, intermediates and beginners alike. K11 is a left that works best at low tide and needs a north-west swell. K12 is also a left, but gentler, perfect for longboarding or free spirits. This point break also works best on north-west swells and at high tide.

Spot Banana Beach

You will find Banana beach with its long right-hand wave. It is an essential reef spot of the Agadir surf camp for surfers of all levels.

Facing a cliff, the killer point spot, named after killer whales, offers a long tubular right. Always bigger than it looks from the cliffs, the spot also offers a left at low tide that fades as the tide rises, giving way to a long right over several sections. Access to the lineup at low tide is easy by skirting the cliffs, but once the tide starts to rise, access becomes exclusively by rowing a hundred meters or so. .
