Taghazout Bay would certainly be the surfing capital of Morocco! It's worth noting that this pretty fishing village north of Agadir has long been a winter haunt for initiated surfers in search of a mild climate and quality waves. Indeed, with an average temperature of 25°C and plenty of sunshine in November, the outside temperature is more than adequate! Boosted over the last ten years by its idyllic setting and the growing success of surfing and yoga thanks to the yoga surf camp, Taghazout Bay has grown in popularity. For beginners, the big Taghazout Bay beach is perfect for learning: the waves are small and gentle, ideal for your first take-offs.

For more experienced surfers who want to improve, there are many well-known spots near our ésurf school Taghazout :

  • Anchor Point: The star of stars, this internationally renowned spot is on every surfer's check-list! Powerful rights that can peel for several hundred metres.
  • Killer Point: There you will find perfect waves that look straight out of a magazine! Long, very swell-exposed sections offer endless walls to manoeuvre.

Careful — these two coves require experience. But rest assured, our instructors are there to guide you safely.

Our ésurf school Taghazout offers various courses as well as tailor-made coaching suited to everyone, from 7 to 77 years old. Whether you are a beginner, intermediate or expert, and whatever your fitness level, we have the package you need.

Become fully independent in just a few sessions! Our camp is located just a 10-minute walk from the first spots. Our teaching is friendly, personalised and individualised. Lessons are organised by age and level group, including theory and practice to better understand the marine environment. Desert point

A fallback spot when the swell is strong on the Taghazout playground, this point break is ideal for less «punchy» sessions offering long, straight stretches of sand; located 10 km after Tagahzout and before Boilers.

Killer Point

Facing a cliff, the killer point spot, named after killer whales, offers a long tubular right. Always bigger than it looks from the cliffs, the spot also offers a left at low tide that fades as the tide rises, giving way to a long right over several sections. Access to the lineup at low tide is easy by skirting the cliffs, but once the tide starts to rise, access becomes exclusively by rowing a hundred meters or so. .

La pointe des ancres / Anchor Point

The anchor point or Anchor point or even Madraba Anchor point is Taghazout's best-known spot, a very long straight with several sections, and a World Class spot capable of working with big swells!
